An innovative farm/field recordkeeping tool to make your job easier

FieldRecon is based on the journaling concept. Activities that occur in the field are recorded as journal entries much like a daily log. This provides an easy to use and intuitive approach to recording data. Journal entries are recorded for various field activities, including planting, scouting, recommendation, and pesticide applications. All journal entries can be displayed, or filter the journal entries by date, activity, and field.

Since the journal entries record all activities in a field, you have a historical record that can provide valuable insight into a field's history as you continue to use FieldRecon.

The data entry forms can be customized and saved as templates. An example would be to create a scouting template for early season insect scouting, and another template for late season insect scouting. For the recommendation and treatment application forms, create templates for specific pest problems with the chemicals and rates already filled in.

Reports can be generated in a matter of minutes using report templates that you have created. Reports are completely customizable, allowing you to change the header and footer text, fonts, page layout, and data columns to be displayed. Once you are satisfied with the layout, save it as a template. Reports can be printed, saved in PDF format, or exported as an Excel spreadsheet.

PocketRecon, the Windows Mobile version of FieldRecon, is used to collect scouting data, make recommendations, and record pesticide treatments while in the field. At the end of the day, connect to the desktop, and the information is copied to the FieldRecon database.
